The Columbia student newspaper has assembled a huge interactive feature on the ‘68 student uprising at Columbia. The feature includes a timeline, photo slideshow, videos, and about a dozen articles.

This week’s issue of the New Statesman focuses on 1968. The theme is “The Year That Changed Everything,” with contributions from Peter Wilby, Noam Chomsky, Anna Coote, Eric Hobsbawm, and others.

The UK’s independent left magazine “Red Pepper” takes on the legacy of 68 in its latest issue: “1968 The Mysterious Chemistry of Social Change.”In this issue, Mike Marqusee argues that the left doesnt need to be nostalgic for 1968.

This amazing collection of resources “1968 in Europe - A History of Protest and Activism, 1956-77“  for teachers has just become available, with extensive information online.

Thanks to AREA friend Adam Kader for sharing this information about an academic journal published a few years back that dealt entirely with 1968. Its a great example of how prevalent this ‘68 literature’ genre is in the academy.
